Super fun looking back at old threads. Not sure why I didn't participate the first few years, but even so, I've been posting for decade in these threads.

1) Items of the major integrators (Jackie, Campanella, Newcombe, Larry Doby etc) from before they made the MLB. In particular I would love to find a nice Doby item from his days in the ***** Leagues or in the military.

2) Find at least 1 significant lineup card collection (happy to pay a finder's fee for anyone who connects me to someone and a deal is made). Love the research and the hunt. Picked up a couple this past year that were around 100 cards, but would love tom find another 1000+ one.

3) Find more lineup cards from significant games. This past year included some incredible finds, and 3 new World Series years. Would also love to find some debuts, milestones and vintage lineup cards.

4) I have narrowed my WWII-baseball focus to a number of areas: Baseball played in Europe, the All Star Series that were played, and anything related to black players who fought in WWII. This year I also added a focus on vintage photographs of some of the biggest ballplayers in the war (Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, Stan Musial, Hank Greenberg. I would still love to find a WWII-related Larry Doby item among other WWII-baseball items.

5) Hoping to find the remaining tickets from 9/11 I don't have, at least 1 ticket from a game that Jackie Robinson played football at UCLA (1939 and 1940), a Dec 7 1941 ticket (Pearl Harbor)

6) I've been slowly working on the 2000 Fleer Greats of the Game Autograph set. I got most of the SP's and would like to find a nice lot that helps fill in many of the lesser ones I don't have.

7) I would love to acquire a few nice vintage GU patch cards from 2001-2005 or so. Back then the card companies were putting out some insane cards, and I'd love to find a couple of nice ones to add this year.

8) I want to try and sell items that are in the collection which are not a focus. Over the years my focus has shifted and I've accumulated items that I don't get much joy out of owning. I'd like to sell those. This past year, I did this with some success, although there's still a lot more. One move that has worked is selling team lots of lineup cards for very aggressive prices. The large collections I've bought have so many items that selling them individually would inevitably mean the total number I have continued to increase. I still have around 4,000 but I was able to sell a few hundred much more efficiently, allowing others to get a great deal, while allowing me to recoup some money from the really large collections I've bought.
