49ers Chris Borland Retires

Just a week after all-pro Patrick Willis retired at 30, his replacement Chris Borland, 24, retires.


Pretty shocking, he was a solid young player. 49ers 3rd round pick a year ago and had an awesome rookie season. Graded PFF's No. 4 inside linebacker

Two big retirements between him and Worilds (27) so far this offseason. Early retirement can be a growing trend with all the health concerns.

That's shocking, the bay area seemed OK with Willis retiring because of this guy. I agree this will be more common, I think it'll hurt the NFL though unless u just root for a jersey
