A interesting match has been added to the Elite XC card.

This is a good match for MMA fans.For people who don't know Roy [Big Country] Nelson.He was the IFL Heavyweight Chamopion and is pretty good.I think he has a shot at a win.


For the first time ever stateside the UFC could have some mixed martial arts competition to worry about. MMARated.com is breaking the news that an Andrei Arlovski v. Roy Nelson fight is a late addition to the EliteXC Oct. 4 CBS show. For a fight of this magnitude to be added less than 10 days before the card is certainly odd but the intriguing part is the fact that the No. 2 and 3 MMA promoters in the U.S. are working together on a promotion. Arlovski and Nelson are both Affliction fighters.

Seeing such a skilled fighter in Arlovski on network television is going to be AWESOME!

But I hope he doesn't try and trash talk Nelson before the fight....
