So Ron Swoboda charges $5 per card to do TTM. I had a ten and three cards I thought would look cool signed. So I decided to send the 3 cards with the ten, and just see what happens. Before I post I'll allow time for guesses.
Did he take the ten and sign all 3?
Did he sign all 3 and send the ten back?
Did he take the ten and just sign two, as per his $5 rule?
Any other guesses you might have????

Signed all 3 and took the $10.

I wish, and since this really isn't getting any responses, he took the ten, and signed 2 out of the 3. :( oh well, nothing ventured nothing gained. It was fun to see how it would play out tho

That was a good experiment and you have two more signatures for collection.

Funny thing I just went through this thought process when sending out to Wade Boggs, I was sending $10 and was debating on whether or not to send a third card and see if he would sign it. Ultimately I just sent 2 but makes me wonder what would've happened.

Athletes will keep one unsigned sometimes to sign for those who send no card.

Many TTMers include this extra as a token of appreciation for signing.

Just my first thought.
