I agree with the above poster, but will add that even though they're RC logo, his Sterling refractor autos are a steal at $15 when he produces to his potential. I do realize that the fact that he is not doing such corroborates such a price point, but I think moving forward, they're a good investment.

I believe that's the same seller I offered $100 to for that card. I was autodeclined, so I offered $115, a good $20 over what the last one had brought at auction. Autodeclined again. I'd shy away from Elites and instead stick to his 2010 Chrome stuff if you're serious about investing.

I actually don't think he is a great investment. He plays 2nd base, not really a power hitter like cano, not an batting average guy like kinsler. He just seems mediocre to me. Most 2nd basemen are not great investments in my opinion because what other 2nd basemen out there sells for crazy money currently? I can't really think of anyone outside of Cano.

If I was to take off my bias hat, I will still say yes. There is much speculation in the Seattle area that in the off-season, they're going to be bringing in the fences in Safeco Field, thus producing a more hitter friendly baseball Park. As it stands right now, he really doesn't have anyone behind him that pitchers are afraid of, case in point Texas walking him to load the bases and pitch to Liddi on Wednesday (although it worked out well for us there). I really think once Montero develops, and if Seager can continue to improve (and managers realize he deserves the cleanup spot) pitchers are going to be a lot more afraid of letting him on base. Best case scenario here is a 330 hitter with 15-20 homeruns and 100 runs scored. I also don't know if he stays at second base, realistically, he's probably a left fielder simply because Seattle has a really deep infield farm system-so that may be a decreasing value.

another thing to keep in mind is how fickle this "hobby" is.

unrelated ... for as good as Cano is, i wonder how many people realize he will be 30 this year.
