One of my very low priority side projects is to see how many Raider QB autos I can find. I have gotten most across the entire franchise history, aside from a few really obscure (especially older) players. Most of them don't even have cards made of themselves.
One new and plentiful player eludes me, simply because I won't pay the prices most are listed for. What is the mindset here?
Terrelle Pryor - He's not playing any longer, not deceased, did nothing of significance i am aware of and his cards do not appear to be scarce either, yet I see most auto cards listed at $15-20 or more, some in the $100s. WHY? I figured he would be one of the easier ones to land, not a harder onbe. Again, if i shell out $15-20, I can cross him off the list, but i figure he is worth $10 at most for a basic signed card of no significance.
I'll gladly leave him out of my collection if that is what it will take to buy one.
