Am I that dumb, or is JSA....?

Am I missing something here, or did they really "authenticate" a facsimile auto?

THey didn't certify it as an auto. The certified the card as authentic. Nowhere on the flip does it say "Autograph". The seller is probably testing out a scheme. (1) Send to JSA for a slab saying the card is authentic (2) Attempt to sell it as an "authentic" auto.

Oh - and I reported it. The guy states in the title and body that it is an "on card auto".

Nowhere on this card does it say "auto" either. The JSA logo doesn't appear on the slab unless there is an autograph. It's possible that the autograph is on the back of the card, or that it is too faint to read. Or they could have just made a mistake.

That is a JSA cert, which means an auto. This has been posted here before. It is actually signed very lightly along the right side. Barely visible.

JSA is not at fault, the seller is trying to scam this with it being an authentic card.

Zach: It's been covered, man. Despite there being no visible sign of an auto, apparently - there is.

Actually, I just pressed my face to the LCD. YOu can make out the auto in blue. The "Freeman" is in the green on the right hand side and is probably the easiest part to see.
