The baseball board has the ever popular 1990s insert thread; it got so big they had to make another topic, in fact.

It's time to gawk in amazement at the best inserts the football world has to offer. I expanded this version to include inserts from the 2000s as well, since there were many great inserts during the early 00s.

1998 Donruss Crusades CTA Green /250

A little Dufex doesn't hurt.

2000 Absolute TOTT Die Cut /100

/500, /25, /1241

That Pinnacle with Dufex is awesome, great design.

Nice die-cuts too; almost anything made by Pacific is going to yield great inserts.

I have or had a Star Factor Barry Sanders, but can't remember if I still have it or traded it.

One of the most unique I know I have was a Pacific card - I forget the set name but it was a dark background with little holes punched out so it looks like Randy Moss....hard to explain I'll just have to find the card - though I don't know if it will look cool in a scan.

Yeah that's gotta be the set....mine is probably just from another year cause it's a bit different. I pulled it out of retail when I'd just occasionally buy packs if I saw them. I put it aside though and held on to it - and not even cause I thought it was the greatest thing ever, but simply because I had not seen a set like it and haven't since.

Actually won this in a pack war in 1994...the losing pack had the Jerry Rice Holo-Die Cut!!!! Sold the Rice, kept the Smith!

Now I am going to have to bust out all of my old 90's football!!!!
