Any word on 2009 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection Baseball?

It was suppose to release tomorrow, but no one has a checklist even on their websites.

Yeah, there's been a few posts on this now, and nobody seems to be forthcoming with any info.

Nothing at UD's site, or my usual source. My LCS hasn't even ordered any because he didn't get
a sell sheet or info of any kind, and he is a diamond dealer (or whatever the hell it is) with UD.

He busted 2 cases himself last year, and this year may not get any. :?

Yup. Then it was moved to 1/6, and now 1/26. I called UD CS last week, and all the rep could tell me is that it's coming out.
They were "not authorized to discuss the product content". ::facepalm::

I love the whole concept of the 14-month year.

Of course, if adding 2-3 months of production delay meant not a single redemption, I'd probably accept the delay as valid. But, I try not to be a fool.

I could very easily be wrong, but I'm pretty sure 08 Ultimate was all on-card AND redemption free.

So maybe that is part of the delay?

Yes, I feel like I need to call up the Doc, grab 1.21 jigawatts of lightning and go back to 2009 so I can actually find the product IN 2009. Geez, is it that hard to get it released in the same year its supposed to depicting?

Actually blan, being labeled a 2009 product, I think precludes them from doing anything to alter the pics.

I was just going off of Beckett, and didn't see anything with the "EXCH" notation next to it.

Just talked to a rep from Blowout since this was supposed to be live today.

He says that now the live date is in fact tomorrow, but they also have ZERO info on the product.

Very suprising to me that a few leaked cases haven't shown up in Taiwan or elsewhere.
Absolutely no singles listed on eBay yet seems very odd to me.
