2017 Immaculate Collection Cleats 1/6 - I don't normally buy Panini baseball issues but I do like the Cleats and Batting Helmet relics they come out with because they're a lot cooler than your average napkin relic.

I've never seen one of those cleats relics, that's pretty awesome.


I thought the Semien/Chapman dual relic was pretty neat and it was a reasonable price compared to some of the other 2021 stuff. The Davis and Cust Topps Black cards chip into my 2010 needs but there are a lot left. I don't care at all about the 9.5 grade on the Nunez Blue auto, I just wanted it since it was an A's Blue Refractor auto and the one that happened to come up for auction at a low minimum once he was sufficiently cold happened to be graded. Only had to wait 8 years for it to get to my price (an entire $5.50). The Puk Refractor auto leaves be two away from completing all of the A's regular Refractors from the first 20 years of Bowman Chrome. Just missing a common from 2000 and a low-end prospect auto I just haven't been able to spot at a reasonable price.


'90s fun. Grieve completes the 1998 Topps Gallery Players Private Issue/250 team set. I wasn't even aware Bip Roberts had an A's card until a couple months ago but there's his 1999 Pacific Blue parallel. And McGwire finishes off my 1998 Pinnacle Museum Collection A's needs. It has a Cardinals logo on the back but hey he's wearing an A's cap so it's an A's card.


Love Pristine Gold Refractors, the 2003 Tejada is 41/69. Zito's 2005 Finest Black Refractor 26/99 leaves me one away from completing that team set. Dan Meyer completes 2008 Finest Green Refractors/199. The Giambi and Dye 2002 Leaf Blue Press Proofs finish off that team set. Same for the 2005 Reflections Purple 81/99 Swisher and 2005 Leaf Certified Materials Mirror Blue Fabric Crosby 45/50.

Just one lonely card today but it is one of my recent favorites. I love the Red parallel with the 1927-28 Cardinals Throwback Jersey.

I'm not surprised, I like panini stuff but even a regular auto is nearly as thick as a standard bible
