Highlights of another pile:

The 2005 Prestige Xtra Bases Black Dtew is 06/25. The "World Series Champions" card supposedly has a print run of 19. Plus a nice Chavez Upper Deck parallel I didn't have.

This gets 2000 Stadium Club First Day/150 and 2005 Finest Gold Refractors/49 down to 1 needed for each set. Straily finishes off all 2011 Bowman Chrome A's Gold Refractors/50, the highlight of which is the Sonny Gray auto out of Draft.

Several recent autographs, mostly of non-recent players.

Some recent parallels. Nick Allen is a Golden Mirror SP. The JP Sears Topps Black took over a month and a half to arrive via PWE, I had long ago given up on it.

A great Eck auto I didn't have courtesy of @Philip J. Fry . Thanks!

I also got this, which gets me slowly closer to completion. I doubt this will ever happen, as I just am not going to be able to spend big $ on guys like Horner, Torre, Bell, Watson, etc even if they rarely show up. Still need Brett, Carter, Dawson, Rice, Schmidt and Stargell for HOFers and those rarely show up either AND are popular/higher demand players. This is one of those sets I would have to get extremely lucky to finish.

Been searching a LONG time for this gold AP. Last one on comc went over 100. This was far more reasonable. :)

Really cooler than expected in hand. Stoked!

Also, ended up with Gary Carter and Miguel Tejada of same run that I would happily move for Clemens stuff....

Another big add...it's been a minute since I've been able to add any GU cards to my collection.

There have been some sets which are exceptionally cool, but have gotten lost due to the sheer abundance of sets out there.

IMO this set might be the best done example of a GU/auto set where teh signatures were on the GU material. They used the outside of the bat (versus a cross-section) so the signatures look amazing, the design is strong (as were many Sweet Spot designs) and the cards are tough pulls with some solid names in the checklist.

I don't know if the hobby will ever sort through the myriad sets from the past 25 years and give sets like this one their due, but I hope so.

The listing said Garvey, the photo was Glavine. I figured it was a win either way. I have the Garvey already, but I'd take Glavine if that were the case. If I didn't have Garvey already, i would have asked for clarification. Apparently nobody did! Turned out it was Glavine.

I'd say I got a pretty good deal either way!!
