hello i just was cleaning out my grandpas house and stumbled upon boxes and boxes of baseball cards all from prolly the 70s up now is there any easyish way to know which ones are wanted or worth anything?? any help would be appreciated

Immediately, anything from around 87 - 91 is going to be massively overprinted, so just look for the big stars.

Grab a scanner or camera, and look for some of the oldest cards, scan them up and post them here. It will give us an idea of what you are working with.

Are you looking for someone to buy the whole shebang or possibly just sort through them on your behalf. I'm sure people would be willing to do either, and many people here are trustworthy. If you were to pay the shipping to me - I'd sort them out into ones of some worth and those not.
It's all in who you trust, though.

ill go take some pictures and see what everyone thinks and sorry i never got into baseball a whole lot more of a car person only reason i offered to help clean up is to get some old cars out in his field lol and id like to go thru them i dunno would be kinda cool to learn a little about baseball and such

If you have some 70's and early 80's there could be some good stuff in there. A lot of later 80's and early 90's is worthless due to overproduction. There are SOME cards in that time frame that are valuable, though. As far a smid to late 90's - you'd be looking for rare inserts.

Some newer ones
