No one is risregarding Pitt...but don't disregard the fact that Villanova beat Pitt 67-57 earlier this year, and split with them last year, so Nova has beaten Pitt two out of three.[/quote:20rxpuqb]aw00d05 said:Why do people disregard Pitt, top 5 PG in the country, top 5 wing in the country and I think the best big man in the country.KandKCards said:aw00d05 said:cowboysrule48 said:But keep in mind, it's the Big 10. Not sure what to think of Nova's draw. Sure, a matchup with American looks like an easy win, but they have 5 seniors, the second longest winning streak in the country (behind Memphis) and one guy with 107 made 3 pointers. Then in the second round, they play the winner of UCLA/VCU. I know UCLA isn't that good, but they have talent and play good D. It will be a close game if they play their usual defense, meaning it could come down to a coinflip. However, I feel great if we get past those first two. We'd see Duke in the regional semis, and have a huge athleticism advantage over them. Then, assuming everything is true to form, we'd play Pitt for a chance for the final four, a team we already beat by 10 this year.
I'm psyched, but it's a long road there. American in the first round will be tough enough.
I like Nova's draw in this field. They definitely have the potential to make a real nice run. Just stash some extra cash away so you can make the trip to Regionals.![]()
