Guess a few of the Flames were out partying at a bar in Arizona, as they have had a couple days off to hang out in Phoenix on their current road trip.

Brett Sutter of the Calgary Flames was arrested by police in Scottsdale, Arizona Thursday morning for allegedly punching a bar patron.

The 23-year-old hockey player was jailed on suspicion of assault for allegedly punching a man at closing time outside the "American Junkie" bar in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Sutter, who was later released on bond, is the son of Flames general manager Darryl Sutter and nephew of coach Brent Sutter.

:o :o :o :o :o :o :o

This story is gonna be HUGE news in Calgary. Many people here are already mad at the Sutters, i can just imagine the publicity this is gonna get here, especially with Brett being the bosses son and the nephew :o

The real crime is he is forever stuck with a mug shot sporting that moustache.

Arizona has not been kind to Alberta NHLers the last two years. Khabibulin can attest to that.

What the hell's the deal with the 'staches??? There are quite a few Bruins players sporting 'staches, and the announcers were just comment on Sam Gagner (and a few other Oilers) 'staches. Do we now have "playoff beards" and "regular season 'staches"??

It's a moustache growing charity event held during November each year to raise funds and awareness for Prostate cancer.

Yep, a whole wack load of guys at my work are growing mustaches as well and getting people to sponsor them to give the money to the prostate charity, like Lumm0X just said its called Movember.

Back to Brett Sutter, i just found out that he hasn't even played a game since October 16th. Hes just basically been traveling with the Flames and practicing with them as well. Oh and collecting his $2700 a day pay check for being with the big club and not in Abbotsford of the AHL where he would be making $250 a day. Other than the bigger paycheck, the rumor out here is that Brett Sutter is such a big drinker/bar fly that this is the reason he is with the Flames, so Daddy Daryl and Uncle Brent, can keep a close eye on him and keep him out of trouble (which obviously isn't working ::facepalm:: ).
