I just found a binder with a ton of these types of cards that I had pulled out while sorting commons. I'll try to scan them all in this week and bomb the thread at some point.

For a while i've been thinking cards like this would be fantastic for Autograph subsets. Hard to plan for perhaps, but imagine those action shots with dual on card autos.

Gerg, I think that Fryman also shows up on the back of Carlos Baerga's 1994 Stadium Club card too.

I've got a Fleer Ultra card, circa 1999-2000, of a second baseman turning a double-play with Frank Thomas sliding into the bag. There's another photo from the same sequence, IIRC, that's an actual Frank card. I'll have to dig them up.

Also, in 1992 when any Shaq card was at least $20, the Fleer Ultra Clarence Weatherspoon IIRC, sold for $1-2 because it had a good picture of Shaq on it.

And don't forget probably the best 'cameo' picture of all, Kirk Gibson and a somewhat determined Cecil Fielder:

Back in the old days when there were only 3 sets a year, these types of cards were kind of popular.

Good to hear, I should probably make up a spreadsheet next, some of the players are hard to pick out with just a scan, and at least one (Neifi Peres I think) had other players on both sides of the card.

Hey Brian, from Razor;

Since you're into making products with older issued cards, how about an autographed set that is encased (PSA, etc.), that has cards that are signed by both players. Those old "dugout" cards would be a goldmine (arms around each other before the AS Game, etc.).

You'd probably want to steer clear of cards where the guys got "owned" in the picture, but there could be some REALLY cool releases in a set like that.

I’m not so big on cameos but I see the interest. They’re pretty cool. I have the 1989 Bowman Griffey sr. with Jr. and the Upperdeck Griffey sr. with Jr. but I don’t consider it part of my Griffey collection. I also picked this up recently although I’m not sure of it’s consideration yet,
