Hey guys, I picked this card up at a local card show for ten cents. It was a crazy deal, but it wasnt until I got home until I realized that the David Wright Chrome rookie card was an autograph. The card I picked up today has a facsimile autograph. Any info on the card or how much it costs? Thanks.

My scanner is down, but this it what the card looks like:

I believe this was originally an uncirculated card. It's not as valuable as the Auto, but DEFINITELY worth the dime. I'll give you $10 for it and you'll make 100x your investment! :D

There is one on eBay listed by Burbank. They are asking $227. Here is the Beckett write up they have in the description:

2002 Bowman Chrome Facsimile Autograph Variations #317 David Wright
Set Information
Bowman Chrome Facsimile Autograph Variations
This 20 card partial parallel to the Bowman Chrome set were issued in this special version with a facsimile autograph as part of the card. These cards were not originally expected to be issued and caused some confusion in the secondary market upon the product's release. It's estimated that as few as 50 copies of each card were produced.

Thanks for the info guys. So, with there being about 50 copies or less, what kind of value would you say this card has?

I remember when these non-auto variants were all the rage. Sold a Gavin Floyd for $150.

It's worth slightly less than the base auto. Probably around $100. Quite a steal for 10 cents.

Don't know if that's realistic anymore, Wright's stuff is in the toilet right now... with that being said, I bet it would get $60 at auction, still certainly a steal at a dime!

WOWWWW!!!! That is one of the more ridiculous steals I have ever heard of. I collect Wright, and I have nearly all the rookies (minor leagues included) except the 02 pristine rare gold ref. I bought that card for $100+ a few years back (can't remember the exact amount). Although there is no auto on the card, it certainly rivals the base auto version in price becuase if the limited amount of them out there. I agree with above, Wright's stuff is in the toilet, so worth holding onto before flipping for HUGE profit. Excpet over $100 easily once things turn around for Wright (well, if they do at least). Nice find dude, congrats!
