All of these photos come from 2005 Artifacts! There are a bunch of the game used cards here, with base versions and parallels as well. I do believe I have them all though. This would be game used exclusively, not anything autographed.

There is the following Patches card, which is serial numbered to /50. Not an incredibly difficult card to get. No parallel I am aware of.
Resized_20210801_162558.jpeg

The next are a series of Dual Artifacts cards. The base versions are numbered to /99 and the Rainbow parallels are numbered to /25. Wright is featured with Scott Rolen, Mike Lowell, and Jose Reyes. The Rainbow parallels have a little foil shine to them.
Resized_20210801_162644.jpeg

Lastly, there are two more individual game used cards, both with Rainbow parallels. An MLB Apparel base card /325 and it's Rainbow parallel /99. An AL/NL Artifacts base card /325 and it's Rainbow parallel /99. The Rainbows here are only really foil and don't have the shine the Dual Artifacts Rainbows have, so tough to really tell the difference via my photographs.

2005 Bowman Heritage. A sub set called Pieces of Greatness. I think Bowman did these for a few years in a row, right? Anyhow, there is a base card and a Rainbow parallel /51, which can be tricky to find. There is also a Red Rainbow 1/1. I have no idea what one looks like though. I think the 2006 and 2007 cards were only border colors, not foil parallels.
Resized_20210802_180624.jpeg

2005 Classic Clippings. For game used, I believe he only appeared on the Jersey Rack subsets, both Dual and Triple. So we have Jersey Rack Dual Blue, also featuring widely known Met killer Chipper Jones. The parallel of which is the Jersey Rack Dual Silver /25. The Jersey Rack Triples are similar, Blue unnumbered, Silver /25. Alongside Wright are Mike Piazza and Kaz Matsui. There is also a Purple 1/1 version of each.

I don't own a 2005 Bowman Heritage Pieces of Greatness Red but if they followed their base set 1/1 Red parallel that year, yeah they were just a red border with no holofoil or anything. Kind of boring.

Interesting, and neat card! Always great to see something rare like that.

I do see the regular base set's 1/1 called "Red", while the Pieces of Greatness (as well as Future Greatness Jerseys) apparently have their 1/1 called "Rainbow Red". Each of these also have a /51 parallel called "Rainbow", which we know is a foil card. Hmmmm, I wonder!

2005 Fleer Authentix has a few different game used cards. Most of the entire series is gimmicked off of being related to admission tickets and such. They have Jersey and Patch Authentix cards, which have a few versions. There are the General Admission jerseys, which are unnumbered and have a red border, the Mezzanine jerseys /75 and have a yellow border, the Club Box jerseys /25 and have a green border and finally Standing Room Only jerseys /10....I think their border color is blue. I only have the first three here. Still missing the Standing Room Only /10 card.
Resized_20210802_194305.jpeg

The patches follow in the same general manner, except for lower serial numbering. General Admission /75, Mezzanine /15, Club Box /5, which are all pictured below. The Standing Room Only card is a 1/1.
Resized_20210802_194330.jpeg

Last are these Teammate Trios cards, additionally featuring Kaz Matsui and Mike Piazza. The base version is /75. The next parallel is a "Hometown 25", which is, not surprisingly /25. The only differences I can really see is some gold font as opposed to the silver of the base. There is also a "Hometown 5", numbered /5, which I am missing. I have no idea if it simply contains the same jersey swatches, or patches. If anyone has one to share, please do!

2005 Fleer Patchworks is definitely a special series for me. I rarely open any products ever. I mostly search eBay and such for individual cards I need. That said, in 2006 I bought a box of 2005 Patchworks. Really a swell box.....every pack contained a relic or auto, so it was certainly a sweet one! In one of the packs was the second card pictured here. A David Wright patch /99. I know it isn't much, but it is the only time I ever opened something and pulled a premium card of my player!! It will always be my favorite card!

So anyways, here's what I got. The three Patchworks jersey/patches. The Patchworks Jersey in unnumbered. That first Patchworks Patch is /99 and the second, which is considered die-cut (it has rounded corners), is /49. I thought the material looked "too good", but after acquiring a few of them, many of them contained some premium patches, so I guess the product was just good in that regards.......or MANY of them were modified.
Resized_20210803_220848.jpeg

There is also a few other non-autographed game used cards in this series. I have the Dual die-cut Jersey /199, with Wright on the front and Mike Piazza on the back. And while I don't have them, there apparently is a Dual Patch /25 and a Dual die-cut Patch /15, both of which also have Piazza on the back.

I figured I'd also share my 2005 Fleer Showcase g/u cards. I lucked out and was able to find these two, both of which are 1/1's. There are three in total. They follow the base cards, just like the one's I posted a while back. They are called Masterpiece Showpiece Patches. I have the one that mirrors the base card and the one that mirrors the Showdown parallel of the base card. Missing the Showtime parallel, which would just have the photo of Wright batting along side a patch.
Resized_20210803_221034.jpeg

Here are my Wave of the Future Jersey cards. Green, distributed in retail packs only, Red /610 and Patch Masterpiece (purple) 1/1. Oddly, I haven't been able to find the regular Patch /50. Would be fun to have all four!

2005 Leaf Certified Materials. There two Mirror Bats, a Red /250 and a White /100. There is also a Mirror Fabric card, which is White as well. Never seen it, so I don't know the print run.
Resized_20210804_180643.jpeg

2005 Leaf Limited. There are three Threads cards. This one, a Jersey Prime patch /100. A TNT Prime /50, which I have seen a few times, just haven't won one yet. It is a jersey and bat card with an orange background. Last one is a 1/1, an MLB Logo.
Resized_20210804_180711.jpeg

2005 Prime Cuts. There are seven Materials cards. I have all five that are /50. There is a Bat, Jersey, Position, Number, and Combo. The two I am missing are one Prime /10, which I would imagine is a patch of some sort. The last is a Prime Combo 1/1, which is a plain bat and a patch, judging by some other player's I have seen online, so not exactly too exciting.

Hey I've got the sibling of one of your 2005 Fleer Showcase cards:

05fshowpatchmaster.jpg 05fshowpatchmasterb.jpg

I didn't realize there were three different versions until now. Regarding the Wright 2005 Leaf Certified Mirror White Fabric card, according to Beckett it's /100...though if you've never seen it then that's probably incorrect and it was either very SPed or never made.

Yes sir, three versions like the base cards. Happy hunting, haha!

Interesting, I didn't check Beckett. /100, eh? You might be on to something in that they were never released or something similar. I mean, I might have missed one or two, but I honestly haven't seen one I can recall.

2005 Prime Patches certainly has some cool and unique game used cards. Here are two of the three Materials cards of Wright. All three are 1/1's. I was lucky enough to find the Laundry Tag and the Button. Missing the Bat, which is just a plain small swatch of bat, just happens to be a 1/1. Each player's print run from these is varied. Wright's just happen to all be 1/1. There are also some other cool Materials cards, like Team Logos and Sleeve patches, just not including Wright.
Resized_20210805_180249.jpeg

Wright was also featured in the Next Generation sets. There are eight of them total, many of them being 1/1's or severely limited print runs. I have the very common Jumbo Jersey /210 and the Bat Knob End 1/1. The others consist of; a Bat 1/1 (again, a simple small bat piece, just numbered to 1), a Bat Knob /4 (which I am honestly not sure how it differs from what I already have.....maybe the other side?), a Jersey 1/1 (simple jersey piece), Number Patch 1/1, Laundry Tag /3, and Button /4. Strange serial numbering, but pretty cool cards if I can ever find them.
Resized_20210805_180314.jpeg

Next up will be 2005 Reflections, which if any of you are familiar with, has A LOT of game used cards. See you tomorrow!

This is the jersey and bat knob 1/1's. The bat knob is not nearly as cool as yours, just a piece of wood in a slab. 033c3d0bc7d1ea2251ec90dd1cc6dc03.jpge62ffbe62028a71f42dad770dc7eb27c.jpg

That bat knob card looks incredible, that's the coolest looking card I've ever seen out of that set. They had way too many 1/1 cards that didn't look like anything special, or looked worse than a /200 card from the set, ha. But because of that they're generally cheap...I've managed to pick up 5 A's 1/1's from 2005 Prime Patches well under $50.

Time for 2005 Reflections....

Fabric Jersey and Fabric Patch /99....all of the patches I have seen have been pretty sweet and not too hard to find, all things considered.
Resized_20210808_141005.jpeg

I have all the Super Swatches here; base /50, Red /25, and Blue /10.
Resized_20210808_141046.jpeg

I have been fairly neglectful to these Cut From the Same Cloth Dual Jerseys. I did not heavily search for or necessarily purchase these while collecting. I'm kinda playing catch-up here. There are four sets here; Wright with Hank Blalock, Wright with Dallas McPherson, Wright with Scott Rolen and Wright with B.J. Upton. Each of these little sets have a base card /225, a Red parallel /99, a Blue parallel /50, as well as a Platinum parallel 1/1. I only have the Blue Blalock /50 in COMC, the base McPherson /225, the Red McPherson /99, the base Rolen /225 in COMC, the Red Rolen /99, the base Upton /225, and the Red Upton /99. Still a few to go here.
Resized_20210808_141150.jpeg

Last are the Cut From the Same Cloth Patch cards. There are only these four; Wright with Hank Blalock, Wright with Dallas McPherson, Wright with Scott Rolen and Wright with B.J. Upton....each numbered /99.

Doing 2005 Sweet Spot today. There are quite a few of them throughout two specific subsets; Majestic Materials and Sweet Threads. While I have a few neat cards, I am missing quite a few as well.

Will start with the Majestic Materials cards. Below are the Majestic Materials singles. There is a; base (which I have at COMC), a Gold /75, a Patch /35, a Platinum /10, which I am missing, and a Plutonium 1/1, which I managed to find.
Resized_20210809_130456.jpeg

There were also Majestic Materials duals and triples. Wright is featured on two duals, one with Miguel Cabrera and another with Dallas McPherson. Each dual had a base /25, dual Patch /5, dual Gold /5 and the dual Plutonium 1/1. Only have the base dual with Cabrera. For triples, Wright is only featured on one card, with Scott Rolen and Troy Glaus. Same situation as the duals.....a base /25, a Patch /5, a Gold /5 and a Plutonium 1/1. Got me the base /25 only here. Additionally, there are Majestic Materials quads, but I do not believe Wright is in that subset. Trading Card Database lists only five different cards, none of which Wright is a part of.
Resized_20210809_130547.jpeg

I have myself only two Sweet Threads cards. Like the Majestic Materials cards, there are singles, duals, triples and quads. Wright is not in the singles nor the quads. Also like the Majestic Materials for duals and triples, there are base cards /25, Patch /5, Gold /5 and Plutonium 1/1's. I have none of the duals, where Wright is featured with Mike Piazza. I was fortunate enough to find the base triple /25 and the triple Patch /5, where Wright is featured with Carlos Beltran and Mike Piazza. Besides all the duals, I am missing the Gold triple, and obviously the Plutonium 1/1.

This third basemen Sweet Threads Quad would be a lot better if they had replaced McPherson with Wright, but I guess they were going for an AL West thing:

That's still a cool card....McPherson or not! And yes, does look very much like an AL West thing. I know Blalock had a pair of pretty darn good seasons before this card was made, so makes sense he would be included at the time, but I don't know much about McPherson. I see him a lot with Wright in 2005. Was he a top rated prospect at some time?

EDIT: Just looked at his minor league stats. He was great in 2004 across AA and AAA, 40 HR, 126 RBI, .317 BA. That'll get you a look in the big leagues.
