I would very much assume that they sign at least one more solid SP in the offseason. Whether its Tanaka or not who knows.

There's Ubaldo Jimenez and Ervin Santana. I figure most teams have passed on their price tag. I don't think they are even on the running for Tanaka. Most likely trade for 4th/5th starter.

Ervin and Ubaldo as well as Garza are all waiting for Tanaka to sign. Because once he does the teams who missed out will increase what they were offering for these three IMO and thats what they are hoping for thus the reason they haven't signed yet.
