Detwiler and Frazier 07 bcdp redemptions?

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything in regards to these two redemptions as I am waiting.

Somebody said the Fraziers were shipping a few weeks ago..I'll believe it when I see the envelope in my mail box

I sent an email asking and they said

"Thank you for taking the time to write with your question, and please accept our apologies for any confusion.

These items are currently listed on backorder, meaning that the featured players have yet to set up their autograph sessions. As soon as the sessions are set up and the cards are finished and signed, they will be shipped. Since the time of delivery depends on the schedules of the featured players, we cannot give you an estimated time of delivery for the redemption cards. Please allow up to 3- 4 weeks for further updates on the status on the redemption.

Sessions set up ? Cards finished and signed ? What i don't understand is that both guys have signed stuff for 07 Sterling, and Detwiler has a 08 Finest on-card auto in a 2008 product. Not sure it's the players who are lazy signers or Topps completely lost...

Still waiting for my Frazier too...do you think that if i email them and ask for any replacement, they will ? Or should i have to wait over and over ?

Still waiting on the Detwiler myself. Last time I spoke with Topps, probably back in June/July I was told I could at that point take a replacement of Topps choice, based on Beckett BV. That was fair, except for the fact that the BV had dropped so much from when I sent it to Topps in Jan 08, till June/July.

At this point I am just going to see what happens. With Detwiler what I don't understand is that he has other signed cards, so how did these not get signed while others did.

Why would anyone e-mail eTopps to get an answer regarding a Topps/Bowman redemption?

I'm the one who made the post on the old boards about how they were shipping in 2 weeks, because that is what they told me on the phone back in August. I decided to call again today, and all they could tell me is to call back in 4 weeks to get the next "monthly status" of the card. I just asked for a replacement for my Detwiler Refractor. I will be receiving a $30 BV card in return in 2 weeks. The woman on the phone checked the February Beckett (issued in January when I sent it in). For all I know, the newest BV is like 20 bucks, since the prices have dropped since I bought it. Hopefully they'll reward me with a somewhat decent card for waiting so many months.

This is a form response. I received the same one on June 12 (just checked my emails)...clearly we're getting that personal touch from Topps on this.

The refrator started out with a BV of $50, so its nice to get a replacement and take a $20-30 hit on it.

I got a replacement for my Frazier base auto and an xfractor auto. Received a Andrew Miller Bowman Auto and a Maybin Bowman Auto...both on card. Truth be told I would have rather have had the Fraziers, but the cust. service person said chances are getting slimmer and slimmer that they will be redeemed. Have to be happy with my Frazier Sterlings.....

I'm waiting on 10 ref, 1 base, 1 x, and 1 gold; I've been buying his sterling and elite's lately assuming I'm going to get hosed with replacements.

i called them up the other day and they gave me the same rigamaroll about them being on back order and that at the next backorder meeting in 2 weeks theyd have a better idea. maybe the reason there on backorder is because of all the backorder meetings. kind of reminds me of a scene from officespace
