Yea sadly I do, and I'm never gonna forget it. Not baseball, but it was a HUGE deal.

I traded a Henrik Lundqvist auto /50 (BV $50) for a Mike Green Jumbo Jersey Gold /10 back in January. It was a US/Germany deal.. I never got the Green and was out a $50 bv card. The guy insisted he sent it but later he screwed someone else over and tried to make good be sending replacements but what I got was crap compared to what I traded.

I used to have a binder full of basketball cards from the mid 90's when I was collecting back then.I made a dude in class mad and he threw my bagpack out into the hallway when I wasn't looking before class started and everyone was out in the hallway.Needless to say when I finally found my bag the cards were gone.I was so mad I wanted to kick the crap out of that guy.It was all over a joke and I knew he didn't mean for my stuff to get stolen but he didn't know I had them in there. So I lost a lot of good cards.Looking back on it I was going through my basketball beckett and I had probably well over a $1,000 worth of cards in the binder. But that was back when you could buy cards at your local walgreens and still get stuff worth money.I was surprised they actually still booked so high. Now if I buy a pack I feel like I just got cornholed.

I'm 12 or 13. I have like 5 of each of the 1000-yard club from Topps FB 1992 or something. I took them to school to try and trade, but some a-hole stole them from out of my bag.

I was sooooo pissed.

Had about 10-15 low end Just and Tristar 8x10 autos and a nice Jay Bruce stolen in a trade... Now it sits in another members (not involved in the bad trade deal) bucket on these boards. I was pissed when I saw it on a post and the scan has the same COA # as mine did. Could never track down the bad trader though. Ugghhh still frustrated.....

6th grade. Took some stuff to school to show off. Ended up some jack hole stole my signed 1987 Donruss Mark McGwire. Got that signed at County Stadium the night Canseco got to the 40/40 club. Wish I had kept the ticket stub too

amyanks22... stole my 06 Kershaw chrome auto and 06 BCDP Maybin X..

 Wow....

I don't go to shows so I have never had any cards stolen. I also don't advertise that I collect around here and the only people that know my address are eBay sellers/people I've traded with. I do remember as a kid, some of my Barry Sanders/Michael Jordan cards got stolen :(

Back in 1993, my dad sent me a shoebox full of old Topps cards. While he had nothing too valuable in there, he did have a Reggie Jackson RC (1969 Topps), which I promptly put into a penny sleeve and top loader (I was 12 at the time). Well I showed it to a buddy of mine and he didn't seem too thrilled about the find. Boy was I wrong...he stayed over one night and around that same time, the card ended up missing. At that time, I believe the card booked for around $600-$700 and had a chance to sell it, but I declined because I thought it was cool to have a card that old in my possession.

It was from our trade.. not from an address thing.. just saying that he never sent his share of the trade.. just "stole" the ones I sent to him

PLEASE DONT BASH ME as i was a young kid at the time. Here is my "stolen story". When i was 14 , there was a card show that was 20 mins from my house. I was looking throw a shoebox that contained cards in screw down holders that the dealer was selling. The one card that i saw before me was one i had always wanted since i first started collecting and when i learned of the great home run hitters. The dealer was not at the table but he was down at the end of the row of tables talking to another dealer. I slipped the card out of the box and put it in my pocket. I then bought a few mcgwire base cards off him for like 5 bucks after he returned to his table. My dad who took me to the show was at the other end of the mall. I walked fast to find him after i paid for the cards. I was nervous and sweating, as it was the 2nd time and the LAST time i ever stole something from someone. I knew better not to ever test my luck ever again. I told my dad i wanted to go home immediately. Once in the car i was finally aware of what i had just done. I had just stolen a Mike Schmidt rookie card. After that incident i never stole anything ever again. I am not proud of what i had done, but being a stupid young teenager, i guess if i was gonna have my 1 shoplifting moment, this was gonna be it. The card was raw when i stole it, about 8 years later i had it graded. And here it is. As corrupted as ever.

The local card shop owner called the cops once the guy who broke into my apartment tried to sell him my stuff. The loser just dropped my cards and ran when the owner confronted him.
I owe a ton to that shop owner and still buy from him whenever I can...

Wow...so why couldn't the cops go after the guy and get your remaining cards?

Because honestly, the cops didn't give a crap about my case. They finally caught the guy and charged him with receiving stolen property. No idea where the other cards or all the other stuff he took from my apartment ended up. It's probably up in the Boston area still...
