Here's my thoughts as a Yankee and big time Donnie Baseball fan.

Seeing him initially in a dodger uniform was like seeing your ex girlfriend with another guy.

Seeing Donnie in a Marlins uniform is like, well, seeing your ex girlfriend dating a 90 year old guy.

I'm very happy for him. I wasn't sure if he would get another chance to manage right away, I thought he was gonna have to do a few years on the sidelines and bide his time before somebody else was like "hey, wanna be our manager?"

Glad to see Donnie get another managing position so quickly. I think it's a good fit and the Marlins look like they are on the way up. It would be cool to see Mattingly's managerial career mirror Joe Torre's.
