I can't believe I pulled the Joe Jackson Bat! I know the Jackson was a great pull, but how'd I do on the prospects?

remind me later to tell a story about the Joe Jackson bat - I know where it came from & who owned the whole things before selling it to Donruss -

Oh - forgot to reply -

A friend in Panama City located the bat & listed it with MASTRO autcions (sp?) - He was told over & over that it would fetch $5000+ ... It was certified by PSA/DNA as "most likely genuine" but of course there's no way you can be 100% sure ... when it sold, it went for only like $1200 or something. He was upset it didn't sell for more. Would have kept it at that price. I have the full size image somewhere ...

When was this? I have nearly every Mastro back catalog and I've never seen a Jackson bat sell in one

Oh, and there's no point in the last 20 years that a Jackson bat that's "most likely geniune" would have a $5k preauction estimate. Try at least 20 times that much
