That's not even close to what this article is about.jbone17 said:Very interesting. This is the problem with baseball today. Young kids today play baseball for the money instead of heart.
What are you talking about? The article clearly states the price tag was to scare teams off - money is not the issue at all here.jbone17 said:Very interesting. This is the problem with baseball today. Young kids today play baseball for the money instead of heart.

Exactly. He doesn't want teams to change his workout routines. What is wrong with longtoss anyway?Van Slyke Collector said:The article has more to do with Bundy not wanting to veer of his current throwing program than it does money.
jbhofmann said:I heard he also wants to continue using the "hot-ice" treatment after throwing. Pitching coach Dan Stern swears by the technique.

How is this for legitimate?
"I don't want to play for a franchise who doesn't care about their fans, who makes little to no effort to put out a competitive team, and who always trades away players once they become successful"
If any player had the balls to say that, they'd instantly become my favorite player

I am well aware of that. This is just my opinion on the game today in general. In no way shape or form was my comment associated with the article and I realize that. Now for my comment on the article, I think it is ridiculous how young players who have top talent do not want teams to pick them. If I was blessed with the talent that Mr. Bundy was blessed with, I would not give a frack who in the hell picks me. As long as they are paying for the talent, than who cares....I understand that the hefty price tag was to chase teams away and I hope it comes back to bite this kid in the ass when someone is scared to sign him. I see we have a bunch of wise asses on this board lately. ::facepalm::
So, you make an initial comment that has nothing to do with the article, admit it has nothing to do with the story, and I'm supposed to find some sort intelligence in that? Sorry, I forgot to suspend my linear thinking when reading - my bad yo.jbone17 said:jlecates said:Whoa, now!
