I just can't decide if I want to leave this guy bad feedback. Which made me wonder how often you all have left bad feedback for someone else on eBay. I personally have not left anything but positive, but I think that might change after this situation...
Here's my situation:
I buy two cards (about $40 total CV) from the same seller for lower than they had been going for at the time (because the auction ended sometime after 2 a.m. I would assume would be the main reason for the low price). He combines shipping, so I'm thinkin 'great I get a nice little deal'. 3 weeks later, I have no cards and haven't been contacted by the seller. I send him a message asking him where my cards are (politely of course) and he responds saying he's havin problems at home or something along those lines and that he still would be sending them. Another week passes with no cards and no contact so I message him again (politely, but sternly) saying if I don't have the cards within 3 days, I'm filing a claim. He messages me back in all caps (shouting I presume (as if he has ANY right to be mad at me because he didn't do his part and I'm starting to lose patience)) that he sent and has no idea why I haven't received the cards yet. I received the cards the next day (over 4 weeks after the auctions ended) and haven't left feedback yet.
What feedback is appropriate here?
I received the cards in fine condition, so NOW everything is fine, but it took him a month to ship and instead of simply messaging me to tell me why it was taking so long, I had to contact him to find out what was going on. And then even after that, he did not contact me to let me know he had sent and then he got all defensive and somewhat disrespectful when I messaged him giving him a deadline. Once again, it's not my fault that YOU are a poor seller and do not do your job. If it hadn't been for this, I might have just left a positive with 1 star shipping and communication, but he actually had the nerve to get upset at me after he did not ship for a month. So what would you do? And how long would you be willing to wait for a seller to ship (without contacting you) before you take action?
