The next 2 weekends should be fun...going to a Jack Lambert signing this Saturday and then next Saturday is the biggest card show that we have in this area that. It's held in the arena of a local university (Robert Morris) and it's usually chalk full of everything from vintage to current to auto'd memorabilia.

Here's a question; for my birthday my wife bought me tickets to the preseason Seahawks vs. Titans game. I'm thinking I'm going to wear my Locker Titans jersey as well as a Seahawks hat so the local fans don't get abusive. I've never worn an opposing teams jersey to a home game, so I'm not sure what to expect, but I figure the fact that Locker is a local boy will help. Am I just being paranoid?

I can see you having some troubles if you were going to Oakland or Philly, but it's Seattle, you should be fine. You might hear a couple comments but nothing too serious.

There will always be a few fans who are more obnoxious than others. One time a Pitt football game there was a guy wearing a Tony dorsett Cowboys jersey and some drunken idiot Pitt fan was giving him **** for wearing a Cowboys jersey. Uhhh, hey idiot, Dorsett went to Pitt, and you're at a Pitt game, not a Steeler game.

Thank you Upper Deck, Press Pass, and Leaf for giving me something to buy during the doldrums season. The Draft is long gone, 2011 stuff is drying up, and the bulk of Topps 2012 NFL cards still a few months away. Perhaps the Bowman Signatures stuff coming out in a few weeks will be interesting.

I hear you man. I've had to resort to buying baseball! My interest in the 2012 draftees is pretty weak, so I don't even know how much 2012 wax I'll break once the season goes on.

All signs are pointing to the Vikings stadium deal succeeding. It has passed the house (which was the biggest hurdle) and is on its way to the senate. The Vikings have allegedly agreed to this version and there shouldn't be any problem with senate voting. It's a very good day for the future of MN Vikings football.

Claimed to have a small indent on the surface of the card and I told him to return it for a full refund. He was just trying to get a discount and got angry at me. So he opened a claim finally mailed back "A" card on the 7th, got it today and it is a 2008 Upper Deck Timeline Gold #44 Frank Thomas BV $2.50.

Already called paypal and they opened an appeal. 24-48 hours and I will find out what happens
