On other site I discovered a member who has several Sammy Sosa E-X Credentials from 2003 and 2004 - the only problem is that they were released after Fleer's bankruptcy and are not numbered.

He has the Credentials Future and Now from 2003, and the Credentials Future from 2004. How "rare" would you consider these post-bankruptcy unnumbered versions? As a player collector I think they might be cool to have regardless.

From what I saw on ebay a few years ago, rare is the last thing I would associate with them.

I have a ton of them from a recent set attempt. The best one I own:

Thanks for the tip Bo.

I ask because while I would like to get these, he also has several other Sosas which altogether exceed what he would probably want from me.

soccerman - the cards I am referring to are like those but un-numbered (came from the Fleer bankruptcy).

I'd like to know about any Piazza's. I have David Wright card from the auction, but it's a Flair Showdown unnumbered version. Is more rare than the rare one, lol. I was told that less than 13 of these exist, as I think 30 was the actual print run.

My question is, say there was 20 serial numbered of the pack inserted version, why would they have made any more than that if they were made to be replacements.

Who knows. There were a lot of oddities released after their bankruptcy.

I was tracking the 2003 E-X Credentials Now Andruw Jones card a while back. Andruw's card was #9, so it should have been limited to 9 serial numbered copies. The guy selling them on ebay said he bought fleer's whole stock of replacements when they went bankrupt. I asked him how many unserial numbered Andruw's he had from Fleer, and he stated 10. I ended up tracking 7 sales of the unserial numbered card. The seller on ebay at the time was bvonrascke, but he has since changed his ebay name.

Hopefully this helps.

Rickey had a whole crapload of these: 2004 E-X Clearly Authentics Black Patch RH #/75 except for the un#'d version. I didn't win one because I was really mad at the time. I felt like it kind of cheapened the real ones with these (sort of) fakes out there. I dunno. I was just really pissed at Fleer because I had a bunch of redemptions (of my player and I paid a grip) which were replaced (with very crappy cards) by ARA. Sad times. I got the same stupid 3 random cards for my $100 1/1 redemption as I did for my $3 redemption. I'm still pissed 5 years later by golly. :P

They quickly flooded the market and are a cool novelty for the player collector. I've seen the actual numbered ones start to sell for a bit more.

I believe there are quite a few replacements, more than the numbered version of the same card.

I'm the one with alot of these cards, I got them from the person that went to the fleer bankrupt auction, and he told me that there were like 5-15 copies of each printed, that he got from the auction, and I tend to believe him... He said one of the one's suppose to be numbered to /100 had 5-15 copies, making it rarer, but at the same time the 1/1 cards had 5-15 copies making them less rare.

Thats who I got mine from, and I proably have the other 3 Andruw Jones that you didn't track; I got 1-3 copies of alot of what he had...
