I don’t have any other forums and don’t sell on eBay I usually only sell face to face

You really are new, aren't you? You and your alterego are tossing up red flags like crazy. Why would anyone trust a brand new member with no feedback or references. The "send first" is a pretty standard sports card trading rule when a new member isinvolved on a site with long standing and well known members. Sure, there is always a chance someone goes rogue after years of solid above board dealing, but the chances are MUCH HIGHER that a newbie comes on to a site, flashes hot cards within days or weeks of joining anonymously, collects a bunch of cash and disappears. If you had a website, a storefront or an ebay account, that is establishing identity and credibility. Without that, you have no credibility, so asking you to send first is not "the dumbest crap" to anyone else who may not want to risk being ripped off.
