Maybe not truly a funny story, but I certainly got a chuckle out of this. A couple weeks ago, I sold a card on eBay, not really high-end, $40. I waited over a week for the buyer to pay and even resorted to opening up a claim before they winded up doing so. I'm over that though, I got paid so no biggie. Anyway, fast forward to today, and I come home to see that the package was returned to sender. I think there was an issue with the address or something. I'm not sure, still trying to figure out what happened there. I then immediately went to email the buyer to explain the situation and that I would resend it out tomorrow along with an extra or two to make up for the delay. The buyer then responded by asking for a list of cards that she could pick from. I was going to send her a pretty nice card too, but she had the nerve to ask for a choice of freebies. By no means am I upset about this and am more in awe than anything else. Anyway, just wanted to share my story. That is all.

I have had so many people say. I'm so glad i won your auction and at a SICK price, could you toss in some (enter Team or Player Here) cards for my grandson, he really loves collecting. I send back and say sure will do...and the there is nothing in the mailer other then what they bought.

I always screw with my buyers for my own entertainment. Whenever I sell a Yankee card and ship it to NY, I always make a team set from whatever I've busted of the Redsox and include it and vice versa. If I sell something Tom Brady, I include some Peyton Manning base cards. I sold a high end Ben Roethlisberger and I included a rape whistle with no note explaining what it was, I don't think the buyer figured it out...

That. Is. Awesome!

I hate the Steelers and Worthlessberger. They're all hilarious, but that one was my favorite.
