I'm sending a few things in with the sub already, but I bought a large collection and it had a few intriguing items in there, that I'm not sure is worth sending off, so I thought I would ask members of the board for their opinions. The cost would be $15 plus shipping, so around $16.50 each to get each card authenticated and encapsulated. I know Garcia and Craig dont have much out there, and a few of the other ones I just thought would be cool. The only cards I will keep would be one of the Adenhart's and the Elvis, but everything else would be for resale.

Do they have that special for non-members? If so, does it include encapsulation and grading?

Yes, I think so....If I'm not mistaken, blue flips are for the non-member authentication and red-flips are for the members.

He might be waiting for a long time since PSA raised their prices for signed cards. $15 might be the regular monthly special price for now on.

A $10 special just passed.....they come and go from time to time. With those cards the OP should not be in a rush.

I'm not really in any hurry, so I may just wait until a $10 special comes up again. This does bring up the main question of the thread though: Would it be worth it to send any of these in under the $15 special?

Yea but that was before they raised the rates for signed card submissions. Trust me, I know all about the $10 specials. I just don't see them doing them again with the raised rates.

Are you looking at selling these after they are certified?

Yes, all but one of the Adenhart's and the Elvis. Jaime doesn't have a "true" RC Auto, and neither does Motte, Craig, or Chen. Tulo only has the Rookie Cup Auto, and the Gordon's are kind of a shot in the dark.

What do you expect or think you'll make on them? I'm just curious as I don't see much profit after the certification cost.

Thank you for the example, that is the kind of stuff I have been trying to figure out. I would probably end up going with BIN/BO on my items, but your example is a huge help. Thank you very much for your input/advice.
