Express mail international via USPS...only thing that is actually PayPal approved...comes with an automatic $100 insurance, but I'd definitely add more.

Remember signature confirmation is a must for 100% paypal coverage.

Just don't do it, you're asking for trouble. I've done it twice not 2K cards obviously but to Japan and it worked out but still it's risky. What's the card by the way?

If you want to transport them through the custome ,you have to find a exporting company.

Express Mail International includes this and is PayPal's only recommended form of international shipping.

To the OP, I've sent some high dollar stuff overseas...I've had some overseas buyers try to scam me...but the EMI has protected me every time.

Sorry, but that is NOT correct. EMI only comes with signature via return receipt (piece of paper), NOT electronic signature confirmation (online) that Paypal requires. If the item is over $250 and a claim is filed, the seller loses automatically if EMI is used (under $250 you are safe as it does include delivery confirmation).

OP, you can use either Fedex/UPS/DHL which will cost A LOT, but they do have electronic signature for international.

Definitely use Express Mail International with Insurance. Assuming you sold it through eBay, use their ShipCover Insurance. I sold a $1200 card to Taiwan that somehow the USPS re-routed to Brazil instead of Taiwan. The card was never found and they refused to refund my shipping because the USPS doesn't guarantee delivery to Taiwan. The buyer won a paypal dispute, left me a completely unwarranted negative feedback as if I was trying to screw him despite my frequent communication (and his ability to see that USPS screwed up), but ShipCover had my back and covered the full amount of the insurance within 3 days so I didn't really lose anything but one negative feedback. They suck, but with over 8,000 feedback you can eat one or two every once in a while.

Dont forget to inform the buyer that they will be hit with a massive customs bill if its valued $2,000. I once sent a $200 mp3 player to South America, the buyer had to pay $85 + in custom fees and felt it was my fault since I refused to commit mail fraud and lie on the packages declared value form.

Shipcover only provides up to $1,000 of coverage max per shipment. That still leaves the OP exposed to the other $1,000 in a potential claim.

Good call on that. I knew there was a reason I only insured the Ichiro 1/1 that I sent for $1000 instead of $1200 (which is what it sold for). With that in mind, I'm not sure I'd ship it to Taiwan then. Too much risk and I have zero trust for the USPS or their capacity to pay on an insurance claim to Taiwan.
