First off, here it is so you know what I'm talking about:

OK, I'm having some issues with this project. I really don't know how I'm gonna finish it. I would like to be able to fill up the sheet, but since I've started the 8x10, there are now 3-4 signatures on there of guys that have died. I feel like it's a really nice piece, and it's one that I no longer trust with mail order signings and via HOFers foundations (which is where I've gotten all the signatures from).

I think I've been extremely lucky that with all of the different guys handling the photo that it hasn't gotten smeared or dinged up at all. Now I'm thinking that it's just too much of a risk to send it out.

A great solution would be if I was someone who had the ability to attend signings myself and get the signatures the old fashioned way, but that's just not a possibility for me.

So I ask, what is a good solution to my dilemma here? Should I sell it as a "starter project" to someone who could finish it themselves? Should I cut it off at the bottom and make a custom matte and frame out of it? Should I try listing it on eBay?

And just to get any experts' advice, how much is a good estimate on the value of this piece?

Sorry for all the questions but I'm really looking for some knowledge here. Any comments are much appreciated.

I say dont sell it, you will regret it IMO. Musial and Irvin are up there in age and you have some beautiful sigs of theirs. Weve lost Snider, Feller and Kell this year, so those you wont be able to get back on a piece like this ever. I say either keep and still try to get autos when/if you can, or frame as is, I wouldnt cut it at all.

I know you said you dont want to mail it anymore, but if you do keep it and some how trusted either the UPS, FedEx or USPS getting it to me, I could potentially get your Carew, Blyleven, Molitor, Jenkins and possibly a few more HOFers at next years Twinsfest (last weekend in January)
