Shawn Kemp autographs have steadily climbed over the last few years. Cards that used to sell for $30-$60 are now going for $70-$100 and in some instances, more. See link above.

One of his rarer cards ,97 UD3 Court Commemoratives, is currently over $200 with 2 days left. I once tracked a BGS 9.5 version that sold for $100 March of 2009. I woudn't be surprised to see this end over $250.

Yes, Kemp as been selling very well, but not all the bids are legit. I would say they have been selling consistantly for $40 to $60, but for example, this $130 price tag is a bunch of bull as many of the higher prices are.... As you can see in the bidding, it jumps from $50 to $130 and then $132.50.............. $50 to $132.50 is a small and normal jump...................... :x

IMO, this is a case of taking the real hype of Kemp autos, which are around $40 to $60 as I have been watching him for a while, and usually when a guy sells consistant like that at a pretty cool price, people tend to get carried away with fake bids and then relisting just to try and get an extra 40 to 50 bucks from its normal price.

And you know why people are dumping their Kemp autos all of a sudden right? Because Panini came out with a few already, but redemptions, so once they come out and more keep coming from Panini then they will all go down like everything else always does when they start to flood the market.

So if you have a Kemp auto now would be the time to dump it if you wanna get a legit $40 to $60, or maybe you might get lucky and somebody would fall for the hype like usual and you might even get $100+ you just never know.

The 91-92 UD Kemp card.....when it's just him flying through the air.....was one of my favorite cards as a kid.
Would have been nice if UD used some of those as an auto'd buyback type card.

Yeah that card is really cool. 91/92 UD were the first basketball packs I opened. Brings back memories.
I remember when the L.J. & Dikembe RCs were the hits, now they sell for about a buck. :lol:
