How about Belcher getting effed in the a?

Anyone else surprised about this decision?

I wanted Sexyama to win, but don't see how he won that decision. ESPECIALLY with one judge giving him a 30-27. I didn't see that at all.

Anyone see it differently?


I guess that last takedown with 22 seconds sealed the deal.

I would have to rewatch, but I am pretty sure I had Sexyama winning the first and Belcher winning rounds 2 and 3.
No idea how some judge gave it 30-27 Akiyama, but I could see maybe 29-28 in his favor.

We had like 20 people sitting around watching, and we were all shocked at the 30/27. And shocked that they gave Sexyama the decision.


Loved the banter between Rogan and Goldberg when they were discussing Akiyama's nickname during his entrance though. Was hilarious.

I loved Akiyama coming into the cage to Bocelli. Awesome change as opposed to teh rap and headbanging **** I regularily hear.

30/27 surprised me, but I had Belcher winning the second, Akiyama winning the third and the first going either way. A decision either way would have worked for me.

Like I said earlier. That late take down by Akiyama really sealed the win for him in my mind.

I had Akiyama winning the first and the third, but definently thought that there was no way a 30-27 was possible. Joe Rogan was a little out of line IMO when he said Belcher was "robbed" because he made it sound like Belcher dominated the fight, which he didn't.

I thought the same thing last night when I watched it. I just got done watching the fight again since I DVR'd it. I still think the same thing Akiyama 1 and 3. The 30-27 score on the one judge's scorecard is ridiculous though.
