How bad does a "corner ding" affect the value of a card?

I recently sent in 5 cards to COMC, and 3 of them (jam session size cards) had a corner ding description. If I thought it was that bad, I wouldn't have sent them in. To me, they appeared to be a slight imperfection on one of the corners. One of them was just a touch of white and more of a fuzzy corner.

i'd say a corner ding is major if it's a card from the 1980s to present and the card isn't rare.

Takes the condition from NRMT-MT to EX and EX cards from 1980s to present lose at least half and maybe even three-quarters the card's value as a condition deduction.
