How much does it cost to get a bat PSA/DNA cerified? anybody

Anybody know the price you can expect to pay to have your autographed bat certified by PSA/DNA?

My card shop owner says he had a bat but didnt want to get it authenticated because it was about 200 to get done

Wow ... i was on there website and it looks as though a certification on a "game used" bat can run a lot but I'm just talking about an off the shelf bat signed by a player. I sure hope its not $200.

Depends on who signed it.
My LCS does it for MOST players for 20 per sig.
Mantle, Williams, and such are much higher

Your LCS sends them to PSA for authentication for $20 .... The player would be Ryan Braun!

I believe for a non game used bat, the authentication fee would be $25 for Ryan Braun.

Thats kind of what I thought by looking at PSA's website but was hoping for confirmation ... I know there will be shipping costs involved too.

thanks for the info ... I hope your right. Next time I get a day off on a weekday I'm gonna contact PSA.

No he drives down to Chicago and meets the PSA rep and they do it all there.

Just got an email from them today



We will be meeting with PSA/DNA on Monday, December 27th 2010. PSA/DNA is the world's leading third party autograph authentication company. We will need your items by Friday, December 24th 2010. It will cost $20.00 for most items, some names such as Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Michael Jordan etc. and multi-signed items will cost more.
