How reliable is ACE?

I'm thinking of purchasing an autographed item from ebay, and I see it's authenticated by ACE (Autograph Certification Experts). I'm not familiar with the company. Can anyone give me any information on whether or not I should trust them, or are they another ***? Any help is appreciated.

A.C.E. is run by Justin Priddy. He is a good guy.

He used to be one of the head authenticators for *** before they went corrupt. But when he started seeing them do some fishy stuff he left.. Unfortunately they still used his name on a ton of authentications even after he left.

I would trust them as much as I would trust any other 3rd party authenticator as they are all just opinions..

The only true way to know if an auto is real is to get it your self.. The next best thing is companies that only authenticate items that they see being signed.. Other then that it is just someones opinion...

Stay away!!! They cert tons and tons of questionable autographs. I have seen it first hand where stuff got rejected by both PSA/DNA and jsa and then passed by ACE

I've seen tons of questionable auto's with their COA. I wouldn't buy anything from them unless I was 100% sure the auto was real.

I have seen the same thing happen when A.C.E. wont cert something but PSA would.... Remember its just an opinion...

Sure its just an opinion, and if it happens once in a while, its fine... But when it happens all the time, its not a mistake. It becomes much more blatant. And he left *** long after they started passing questionable stuff. He was the head authenticator when they were passing all of the bad David Wright, Rggie Bush, Peyton Manning and Tomlinson autographs. Just look on ebay, there are tons of bad autographs with ACE certs.
