How would you grade your PC?

I'm going to be starting to get my PC encased and was wondering what everyone else thought on how they'd go about it...

If I had the financial resources I would either grade everything or authenticate everything.

I like the minimum grade of 9 idea... most people say 9.5 but hey... otherwise authenticate. I think since it is PC authentic is all that should really matter but just incase you wanna come off something the backup of atleast a mint card is nice

Then only way I would grade is if I sold my PC. A PC is just that a Personal Collection. Therefore I think grading all of it isn't needed. JMO Thanks -CHRIS

Grade it for me please, I'm subjective. I have a lot more that are not in my Bucket. I'm a Card *****.......Collection I slab all my PC, I use PSA do to the fact thier slabs are the same color. Thin so they don't take up space, BGS holders are just to bulky. Even though I own a few Hundred, I like PSA they fit nice into my collection. SGC also, I wish BGS would stick to ONE Color for their Slabs. Gold, Silver, White, stick with Silver. I like everything in my collection with the same look.

If I was doing everything I'd probably lean more towards authenticating everything. I'd want my collection to look the same instead of silver/gold/authentic labels for different cards. I might try and grade rookies but everything else would be authentic. That way I could try and work up to a goal of having all 9 or 9.5 rookies.

I just asked myself this question an the answer is grades for 9's and 9.5's and authentic for everything else high end. If it's not high end then it stays in a top loader or hard case. Also, the authentic slabs just aren't as nice as the graded ones. There's something about the blue authentic tag that I find ugly.

For my PC eventually I am going to do Authentic with the pedigree tag. I would do grades, but I want matching labels. Plus I have cards from when I was 7 that probably wouldn't grade to high. Haha!
