Huggins & Scott Auctions has an immediate opening for an Assistant Auction Coordinator. We are seeking an ambitious, savvy individual with a willingness to learn. An attention-to-detail and ability to handle shifting organizational priorities under hard deadlines is essential. Qualified candidates will be asked, but not limited to, handling the day-to-day processing of collections, tracking and researching rare and unique collectibles, tracking auction items both before and after an auction period along with interfacing with consignors, bidders, writers, authenticators and other personnel within the company.

• Must be willing to work in, or relocate to the Washington, DC area.

• Extensive knowledge of the sports card and memorabilia industry is critical.

What's your commute (driving) from Columbia into Silver Spring like? And, how close is the nearest Metro station?

I live in Columbia and it usually takes 30-45 minutes each way depending on the time of day. Closest metro station is a couple of blocks away.
