I Think I Might Just Take The Loss On This One...

I just recently started using ebay shipping labels... and I didnt know you had to have the correct shipping date on it... so I wait to ship some, and now I cant ship them... I need to get a refund and reprint them. The problem is, how am I to know which ones are the ones I need a refund on?!?!? I printed like 40 labels, and only 10 of them need to be reprinted... so what should I do?? Take the loss? Take the time and get the refund on all them???

just use em. i doubt the post office doofus will even notice. i use em with the wrong date all the time.

I tried and the lady wouldnt accept them.

I put them in the box outside, or drop off insude the building. I dont hand over the ones that are a day "late" shipping. Never had a problem.

I dont have the time. I need to be SURE that they are shipped asap, which is why I might just take the loss.

My dates are never correct on them. Since the postage is already paid you can just drop them in one of the boxes. Definitely wouldn't reprint them.

I too have run into this once when the box where I normally drop off by packages was locked. The PO employee wouldn't take it. So I walked outside and plopped it right in a regular blue mailbox and was sent out no issues.

Never heard of this one before. I guess I always just use the drop box but why would they care what the date says? They scan it as accepted, that should be the only date that matters to them.

I've done this for literally thousands of packages...should not be an issue.

As long as you paid for the shipping they are legally required to take it regardless of what the date is.

It seems more often than not when I buy something I get the notification that my item has shipped when they print the label, but the person doesn't get it in the mail for 3-4 days.
