What do you think the effect would be on top players only having 1 auto as opposed to 7 different levels of autos? Would we see a lot of players selling at the Pujols rate or is Pujols just selling that high because hes the best player in baseball? If you feel strongly one way or the other make a case for it either staying the way it is now, or changing back. No, I dont have any inside info, and Im not from Bowman looking to make this actually happen. I am just wondering because I have been thinking about starting a player collection and was curious to know if prices would dramatically change if I only had to go after 1 auto. My feeling is that going back to 2001 numbering and having the 1 auto would be a lot more enjoyable from a collecting standpoint. If your a case breaker you would likely want the numbering because you would have a better shot of hitting one or two hot players you could flip for a big profit. I personally dont get very excited pulling a card numbered to /500 and knowing not only is there 500 of this players auto but theres 6 other levels all numbered differently.
