Is there a site that lists case numbers?

Topps is the easiest since the year is the last two digits, but what does an "H" mean and what do the first 3 numbers represent?

Has anyone put all the numbers together for all brands, sports and years or at least a cheat sheet?

Thanks for any help

If it is older wax drop BBC an email and I am sure they could point you in the right direction.

I believe the first 3 numbers are for what style packing the product was(ie:vending, wax, cello).

Unsure on Topps. Maybe this will help-

Since I no longer bust 1989 Fleer.....

Never seen one. At least for 1989 Fleer and I looked alot. I assume many keep it close to their vest as knowing can help locate rare errors etc. Only a assumption- example 1989 Fleer stamped lot code 90341

9 = 1989
034= 34th day of the year
1 1st shift or printing facility

I've only seen cases start with a 8 or 9 and Fleer did print 1989 Fleer in 1988

Unsure if the last number is shift of printer. As I know Fleer outsourced printing in 1989 and printed in at least 2 locations. Only seen cases end with a 1 or 2.

The FF variations found seem to be consistent with the stamped date with a few exceptions. This could be due to repackaging due to the FF or mixing of printed material from 2 locations.

Good Luck

I contacted Steve Hart at BBCE and he never kept a list.

Your thought was correct
Fooball rack cases start with 918 and vending start with 920
Baseball rack cases start with 981 and vending start with 951
I will just have to research the rest.

The Topps "H" stands for Hobby Case.

What about this one. This is a vending case with 951-91H
