Please tell us you tested that ink on that leather? Is it leather? Cause I am not sure if you ever seen a ball signed with a sharpie but its not pretty in 5 years. Heck even the leather is subjective to certain inks look at sweet spot 07, or should I say look at the near gone autographs on sweet spot 07

Like all ITG stuff, it's a stated print run

And yes, it is real leather that should stand the test of time.

Are these mock ups? If so I suggest using a ball point pen since marker ink and leather dont mix well. If ever in a humid enviroment the autograph will more than likely "bleed" into the leather. I had a bunch of baseballs from the 80s I recently gave to my local little league due to the giant ink spots on the balls that where once autographs

I completely agree, it seemed that the signatures that were in ball point pen have faired better.

As far as the design is concerned it is almost identical to 2007 UD Sweet Spot. Even Upper Deck had different designs year to year.

Luckily, the above posted by ITG are mock ups. They will be using ballpoints :D

Overall I like the look. Not crazy about the silver seams but the other colors look nice.

Hey. If it works, why change it?

And besides, whose left at UD anyway to complain? :D

First take the large piece of leather that is in the middle of the card with the players' autograph on it.

Then add an image of the player, the company logo, the name of the product and the name of the subset.

Oh yes, now add the players name.

Not much room for anything else and not many ways to skin this cat.

Again, I know that not everyone will agree but we did the best design we could taking into account all the necessary elements above.

I know I'm in for more abuse but I will continue to allow mock-ups to be published so that those who are really interested in the product, not just in abusing us, will have the opportunity of seeing what cards are being made.

Thanks for posting these. Based on the previous images I didn't think this was a product I would be interested in at all, but these are nice, clean looking cards. Will the "heroes" be signing these as well as the prospects. If so, those are cards I wouldn't mind adding to my collection.

No abuse meant, just in my opinion a desgin different from Upper Deck could be had, like smaller leather window and have the card vertical. Or even a bit more original design, Upper Deck had a few like these shown here, so there is some wiggle room to design outside of the box.

So we are at the point of saying that anyone with a differing opinion is "abusive"? Give me a break.
