My father recently bought and read the book "Baseball in the Big Leagues" by Johnny Evers. He also watched the first few discs of Ken Burns' Baseball DVD. So he called a couple of weeks back and was talking about Tinker to Evers to Chance and the great Cubs team that won it all 100 years ago. I decided to put together a nice little gift for him for Christmas. I had to break the Evers out of an SGC slab, and the Tinker and Chance were raw. The Chance has been trimmed off of the top, but that doesn't bother me for the purposes of this gift. Cost me just under 300 total.

Gotta love HOF vintage!

Thanks guys. Yeah, I'm excited to give it to him, as I think he'll like it very much.

I just need to buy a holder to properly show them off together.

Promold makes holders for these now and they are nice.

Those are really nice, but I want to put all three in one holder, so I'll most likely get a 4x6 screwdown or something along those lines.
