Hopefully it's a 3 team deal, why do the Padres focus on Alonzo when they have Rizzo?

Padres also get grandal and boxberger. I hate the trade but the return is good. Should be able to flip Alonso for an arm

What in the hell are the Reds doing? THat is a HUGE haul for Latos. I would have thought without hesitation that they wouldn't have ever does this dea.

Reds must feel the Central is wide open and this is their shot and going for it.

If I'm the Padres I flip Yonder or Grandal to a team that needs a quality bat - maybe the Rays - for a couple more prospects.

I'd flip Yonder for Davis and Beckham.

Sounds like the Padres are more likely to move Rizzo than Alonso.

I'd take him in Seattle.

What a horrendous deal for the Reds. What on earth are they thinking?

Latos isn't exactly the first guy I would target if I were the Reds-and they overpaid +2000 to get him. Wowzer, this is just a really, really bad trade. The pieces they gave up could have gotten them much more.

Reds overpaid by a ton for that headcase! Can't wait to see him get even more exposed.
Biased at bit?
I hate Latos but that is massive overpayment, makes me wonder how much Price, Cain or even Gio Gonzalez could fetch on the trade market.

I'm waiting on a couple of Latos Marquee redemptions. One Musemum /10, and another base auto. Not liking this especially when I have quite a stach of Grandal auto's.

Maybe Robbie Erlin gets a shot durning spring training.
