Magic suffer another loss... Hedo to file for FA

Hedo has told the Magic he will become a free agent, opting out of his contract. Wilbon on PTI said he did it practically after the series was over... Guess he doesn't want to be in Orlando anymore. I assume he will command big big money around 10-11 million a year. Interesting who might get him. Maybe the Cavs?

I was thinking about that earlier today and I dont see a spot for him on the team. It would mean Lebron has to guard the 2 because Hedo is just too slow. Not complety bad, but it would effect Lebron's biggest attribute, his help defense.

I think the Trailblazers are a much better fit and their owner is willing to spend to get a ring up there.

This is the thing IF the Cavs got him.

Hedo loves to get the ball...and so does LeBron. There would be a lot of contraversity between the two for the one ball. Also, the Cavs have to decide between Shaq, or Hedo. I personally think they need Shaq, because they have no big guys that can stop guys like Gasol, and Howard. I know, I know the have Ilgauskus, but he is probably about done, and has weak knees. Then they have Varejao, well um, he wont do the job. Delonte West and Mo Williams will get 12-16 pts a game, and Lebron 35, so they have the outside shooting, but the post is the weakness. Hedo shoots the ball well, but the shooting is there. Those are the reasons they NEED to get Shaq, even if they have him for only 1 year

Their owners are willing to pay the tax, I say they get both. Giving them a deeper bench, and two legit scoring options. Hedo can be pippen to Lebron as Jordan... And well Shaq, he's old, so I don't expect him to stop anyone other than a couple mid tier guys, he won't stop any top tier guys.

At this point they dont need to stop anyone. They are only there to outscore the other opponet and Shaq can make them work for it. On the offensive end, he is still a beast.
