He's now a 2B short of the cycle, and should get one more AB.

Baez hit a single in his 5th AB. 3-5.

Peoria is headed to extras, so Baez may get another shot.

Speaking of cycles, David Dahl is a 3B short after 7 innings. Hit his 2nd pro HR.

Mike Zunino's first professional hit, a stand up double down the line. He ended up today with three at-bats, two walks and a double and is batting 1000. Maybe I was wrong with all of the bashing.

Luis Mateo -- 7 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 8 K

38K to 3BB on the season....why is he in the NYP League? I'm not a Mets fan though. Would have much rather had that line coming from Enny Romero. Jake Thompson did well today for Montgomery, but I still can't get a good read on him. Seems like he's way too hittable; doesn't miss enough bats.

As I posted earlier, he went 1-2, BB (not 2 BB), and batting .500, not 1.000. Not starting in Game 2, but could PH.
