I doubt this is a real trade that happens, but read on twitter per @EMasseyReport a three team deal is rumored to be in the works.

Milwaukee gets Andrew Bynum
Orlando gets Andrew Bogut
Lakers get Dwight Howard

Many pieces involved, but those are the obvious large pieces.

As a Laker fan I'm torn. I really like Bynum and the last time a star C from Orlando played in Hollywood, Kobe wasn't very receptive. He takes backseat to no one. But a front court of Howard and Gasol is scary for the rest of the NBA. IF this happens I hope those three can coexist and gel. Title run for LA of they pull that off depending on the support pieces they trade/get.

Just thought it was interesting.

If you're a lakers fan you should love this trade. The only trade chip the Lakers have is Bynum, and he's overrated with all the injuries he has. Anything else they have to throw in isn't going to be worth much.

Having Kobe and Gasol on the same team as Howard is only going to open up the scoring opportunities for Howard, especially with the good interior passing by Gasol.

Edit: I've also heard rumors of the Clippers and Nets being interested in Howard, and both may have better packages to offer than the Lakers.

Yeah the Nets could offer Lopez and two first round picks. Who knows, but it could be a wild few weeks of deals and trades like the NFL had once the labor dispute was over.

I agree, it should be a fun two weeks. The rumors are already starting to fly about Chris Paul and Dwight Howard. I really hope NO and Orlando do the right thing and move them before the season. We saw how the Melo situation hung over Denver until they moved him midseason. We also saw what happened to Cleveland and Toronto when they didn't move Bosh or LeBron and got nothing in return.

They would dominate the offensive glass every night. They should trade for Dwight and sign Tyson Chandler. Imagine that front court...

Well said, well said. The Lakers have always overvalued Bynum, and hopefully this scenario comes to fruition. It helps that Howard has stated all along that he wants to play for the Lakers. How much longer does Howard have on his contract? That may be a big factor too as it is/was in any trade talks involving CP.

Howard has a player option for next year, so in essence, he's a free agent after this season because there's no way he'd exercise it to stay with Orlando.

As a rare Bucks fan, that is a horrible trade for "us". The Bucks would be selling "low" on Bogut due to him coming back from that terrible injury 2 years ago. Bogut still led the league in Blocks per game and that was with a bum elbow. Bynum is a "Daily" injury risk, no thanks.
