Need help on 1993 Finest Refractors

No, there wasn't a marking on the back.

No they are not marked. You can only tell the difference by holding them up to the light and looking for a rainbow reflection

I Found this by chance trying to blow up a card to show a tinny indent. The indent did not show up but this did. Look on the top of the s in topps. That is not on a non refractor card. I thought it was a registered trade mark. It is not.

Just looked at my Rickey Henderson and the R is there on the Refractor, and it appears to be there on the base card but it's much harder to see.

I now think it is a trade mark. I see that mark on non-refractor cards.

It wasn't until 1996 that Topps would start marking Finest refractors. Curiously though, they started in 1995 with Bowman's Best to mark refractors.

1995 Finest Update/Series 2 were marked on the reverse.

Youre correct; I didn’t even think about the update series, though to be fair I don’t have any from that set unfortunately.
