Started this set in 2008. Need the big names obviously... Cobb, Mantle, DiMaggio, Wagner, Ruth and Seaver SP's. I knew that a few players came in home and road uniforms like Brooks Robinson, Nolan Ryan, and Willie McCovey. I've looked at thousands of auctions and never seen this card until now. Nabbed it for $4 and change. Used my eBay bucks so it was kind of free as far as I am concerned.

Does anyone have access to a comprehensive list for this set? I've looked in the Beckett Almanac from 2006 and many sites but cannot find a list of jersey color variations. I'll go dig through some old beckett magazines. Maybe it was listed back in the day?

Thanks
Tom

Isn't it frustrating to not have a source for that kind of thing. i wonder the same about this card I got on ebay many years back, when this product was new. Never seen another non-white version. It doesn't look colored/altered, but I will never know for sure.

Nice find on the Garvey. No way that is altered. That little tab in the middle of the "A" would be impossible to work around without bending it and leaving a crease mark.

There should be a master database of available swatch colors in jersey cards, but holy **** what a massive undertaking that would be! I've mentioned in the past that I've either found or owned up to 6 different versions of some GU cards, yet I can think of just a few times when different colors are specifically cataloged. The best place for this is definitely COMC; Ebay would work fine if not for some sellers being lazy and using stock photos.

I was working on the bat card set back in the day and gave it up for some reason. Regret selling off what I had :-(
