I sae these had been getting between $76-$90 - the last couple have gone over $100 and this one I believe is a new high.

Do these have room for upward growth, I was hoping to buy some in the offseason for cheap but that plan has backfired. $115 already, in January? Thoughts?

I am surprised by the jump this early in the year, I will be curious to see if more sell in that range as we get closer to spring training.

This puts me in a tough situation-when to sell. I had a big stash of Profar, sold some when he debuted, and have a good chunk left.

What do people realistically think he will do in the Majors? Not that my opinion means anything at all, but I've never got the sense that he had superstar potential...he's basically Barry Larkin 2.0 if he reaches his potential, right? And obviously Larkin is a Hall of Famer so that's nothing to scoff at, but Larkin was never really a superstar.

Some of you guys who have stashes, what are your thoughts?

IMO people are just looking to buy right now and without any new data to process people are just going by name recognition. This time last year people were dumping stupid money into Eric Hosmer cards

If he develops consistent 20+ hr power, he already has the other tools to be a super star. He seems to be one of those natural players, that just make it look easy. Potentially a Jeter type, with more power, IMHO.

Hope he kills, bought in low wish I woulda bought more, I miss guessed he Would be be dealt because of Andrus. I picked up three base autos for $60. Sold those for $100 a piece plus a EEE for another $100. Have some BGS 9.5 refractor autos and a blue for the PC.

Buy low sell high on him. He will be in the minors for a month or 2 in 2013.
So you might see a drop in prices.

Hope he kills want to build a new PC around him but at the sometime don't want to have to spend tons of money.

I think too many people out there have Trout and Harper on the brain. I think there are a lot of people looking at what Trout and Harper autos go for thinking all #1 prospects are guaranteed to be superstars. $115 for a guy who has done nothing in the majors is insane. I think Profar will be good, but those prices are stupid high.

Golden rule for prospects, sell on hype not performance.....
